Abstract
The objectives of this work are to study the effectiveness some partially acidulated rock phosphate (PARP) fertilizer on the absorption of P and Ca of sugarcane in acid (Ultisol) and alkaline (Vertisol) soils. The rock phosphates of Bojonegoro were used in this study. The results of this research showed that the treatment of PARP 25 % and the rate of 100 kg P/ha increased the dry weight and plant P significantly increased the dry weight and plant P and Ca absorption. The variation of PARP levels in Ultisol soil did not affect the dry weight and plant P and Ca absorption. The treatment of PARP 25 % fertilizer was more effective than the other treatment so that it was suggested as triple superphosphate fertilizer substitute.
