Abstract

It is with the blessing of Tuhan Yang Maha Esa (the God Almighty) that I can accomplish the writing of Purana Pura Masceti, Desa Medahan-Keramas, Blahbatuh, Gianyar as my goal. For the reason, I should express my sincere gratitude feeling to the God Almighty. Story of the temple consists of temple’s background, aim, structures, and the functions of each courtyard and shrines or the Istadewata (the Gods and Goddesses) who have the stana in the shrines, the conducted religious ceremonies and its procedure to do the events and managements of the temple. This writing can be done surely with a long and such an endeavour that was begun from the preparation, process, finishing as well as get permissions of related parties. On this special opportunities, warmheartedly thanks to all for helping me to achieve my goal of writing the temple story, those who facilitate the story, and assist the finishing steps. May our endeavour will be blessed by Ida Bhatara in Masceti temple as the manifestation of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. We do hope, this Purana Pura can use as a reference towards our social-religious attitude of the temple, by the xiv pangempon (community who responsible to the temple’s need), pangemong (community who protect the temple) and panyungsung (all prayers) as well as all Hindu community. Before we end our preface, we kindly apologize for the inadequacy of this Purana Pura writing, we do realize it would be impossible for us to attain perfection, and we apologize also for unpurposedly mistake we have done during the writing of this Purana Pura.
